In every region of our country we are fortunate to have an abundance of native plants to enjoy and plant in the landscape. Native plants can be easy to grow and often tend to be hardier than many other plants in the garden. Many more nurseries are selling native plants today.
A short listing of regional native plants is enclosed below. This list was compiled from many sources across the United States. It is not the only native plant list or the best plant list. It is a suggested plant list for your region to encourage you, the gardener, to grow native plants in your garden.
