Floral design has taken on a new attitude in this celebration of flowers showcasing the expertise and creativity of some of the state’s best designers–many of whom are award winners. The Design Division boasts nine different design types, with several entries each, based on world zoos and their inhabitants, such as the Hippopotamus Class with intriguing underwater designs. The Horticulture Division will delight and educate with superlative examples of well grown, well groomed fresh plant material to include annuals, branches, bulbs, rhizomes and corms, container grown plants, herbaceous perennials, roses, vegetables and vines. Special Exhibits will cover a variety of educational topics from Protecting against Invasive Species, Pollinators of the World, Building "Green", to NHFGC participation in NGC Sponsored Youth Projects. Also included are Youth Exhibits and a Sponsored Group Exhibit showcasing clubs' "hands on" Garden Therapy. Included in this Division is The NH Orchid Society, and their exotic and beautiful orchids. After a lapse of over 15 years, this is a treat for the senses not to be missed. Contact: www.nhfgc.org.
