ATTENTION SCHOOL CHAIRMEN
Please amend your Operations Guides to conform to these new policies.
At the NGC Fall Board Meeting in St. Louis on Friday, October 2, 2009 the NGC Executive Committee recommended and the Board of Directors approved the following changes to become effective as of January 1, 2010 for Environmental Studies, Gardening Study and Landscape Design Schools both virtual and on-site courses:
Recommendations Passed:
- That all time restrictions for students between courses for Gardening Study, Environmental Studies and Landscape Design Schools be removed from all school course material.
- That Gardening Study, Environmental Studies and Landscape Design Schools be permitted the option of conducting back-to-back courses.
- Refresher credit for consultant and master consultants will be granted once only within a calendar year beginning in the year following receipt of consultant or master consultant certification. (This recommendation remains in effect.)
