NGC Small Standard Flower Show Certificate of Achievement
PURPOSE: To assist garden clubs that have never held a Small
Standard Flower Show or that have not held one in the last five
years to consider staging one. To encourage clubs that no longer
have the resources to hold a Standard Flower Show to stage a Small
Standard Flower Show.
OFFERED TO: A club that has not held a Small Standard Flower Show
within the last 5 years.
TIME PERIOD: The Certificate of Achievement is offered from June
2013, through May, 2015.
1) A club will be provided with a model
schedule written by the NGC Flower Show Schools (Schedule
Corrections) Committee. The show title and its division headings
are Linda Nelson's theme for her 2013-2015 term as forty-third
president of National Garden Clubs, Inc. Or a club may choose
its own theme, section (and class titles in Design). A club
should request the model schedule from its Regional Schedule
Correction Chairman listed below(or get it from the NGC website),
tailor it for the club's area, and then return the completed
schedule to the Regional Schedule Correction Chairman for approval
prior to the show.

2) The Regional Schedule Correction Chairman
will check the schedule and return it along with a sample kit
showing ribbons and an exhibitor form. A club must reproduce
the schedule for all of its club members and the judges and
purchase the appropriate awards and entry tags.
3) The show must be judged by a panel of NGC
approved judges. (SeeHandbookpp.
4) Following the completion of the show, the
club must send a copy of the schedule signed and dated by the panel
of judges to their Regional Schedule Correction
Chairman. No detailed Book of Evidence is
required. A Small Flower Show Certificate of Achievement will
be issued to the
